What is Bean Body?

Bean Body is a range of coffee-based body care products and accessories. With a strict no nasties policy, Bean Body combines science and nature to awaken the senses with body care that will help reveal soft, smooth and glowing skin. Personalise your selfcare routine with our range of coffee scrubs in a range of flavours to suit your lifestyle and body needs.

Are your products authentic?

Yes, we ensure that all products we sell are authentic and contain natural ingredients.

Can I get a list of ingredients for a product?

Yes, you can find this under the Ingredients page in the main menu of the website. Ingredients are also listed on the individual products pages too.

What do I do if I have an allergic reaction?

If an allergic reaction to one of our products, please get in touch with our Customer Service Team by sending us an email to hello@beanbodycare.com. In your message to our Customer Service Team, please include:

- Your order number

- The full name of the product

- A detailed description of the symptoms experienced

We may also ask for:

- A photo of your store receipt (if applicable);

- A photo of the product

As different skin types and conditions may react differently to a particular ingredient, we suggest reviewing the listed ingredients of the product to help you identify any known sensitivities.

Can you notify me when a product is back in stock?

We regularly update our stock on the website. If one of our products is out of stock, sign up to our mailing list to be notified when products are back in stock. If an item you have ordered has been discontinued, we will notify all customers via email.

My coupon discount code does not work?

What is Bean Body’s ingredient policy?

BEAN BODY takes the ingredients we use in our beauty products seriously. We have a ‘No-Go Zone’ philosophy for our products:

All our products are paraben and petroleum free; contain no mineral oils, animal derivatives, SLS/SLES and fluorinated chemicals. We have an extensive list of other ingredients we exclude from our products – please refer to our website for more information on the BEAN BODY Ingredient Policy.

Are Bean Body products tested on animals?

All BEAN BODY products are cruelty-free. We do not test on animals or support animal testing of any kind.

WHY SHOULD YOU USE A BODY SCRUB?

Body scrubs are a must in everyone’s body care ritual for soft, smooth skin! A good scrub exfoliates skin to remove dead skin cells, improves skin texture and enhances the absorption of your moisturiser for smooth, touchable skin. It is also the first step in your self-tanning routine to ensure a smooth and even finish every time.

HOW SHOULD YOU STORE YOUR BEAN BODY SIGNATURE COFFEE SCRUBS?

We recommend keeping your Bean Body Coffee Scrubs in their tightly sealed waterproof pouches. Please store in a cool, dry place in between scrubs.

For added freshness, we suggest using our What’s The Scoop? Scoop with clip to measure out the perfect amount of product and keeping the pouch sealed in between uses to avoid any water getting inside the pouch.

HOW SHOULD YOU USE BEAN BODY COFFEE SCRUBS?

Our Bean Body Coffee Scrubs are designed to exfoliate and polish the skin. It is important that you rinse your skin first before applying our Signature Coffee Scrubs. We recommend that you apply using your hands from the bottom to the top of your body massaging into the skin. This allows for better skin stimulation.

When massaging into the skin ensure that you apply enough of the product to massage into the skin, without allowing for too much residue. The action of massage and the scrub work in harmony to buff and polish the skin. Top areas to focus on for a deeper exfoliation are the elbows, tops of knees and feet.

We recommend using this product 2 to 3 times a week for maintaining perfectly polished skin. (Note: this product is not suitable as a hair scalp scrub)

CAN YOU USE BEAN BODY COFFEE SCRUBS ON DRY SKIN?

For best results, we recommend that you use the scrub on wet skin – jump in the shower, get wet and gently scrub skin from top to toe.

CAN I USE A BODY SCRUB AFTER SHAVING OR WAXING?

We recommend that you wait 24-hours before applying a body scrub after shaving or waxing. Your skin is more sensitive post-shaving or waxing. If you have any open cuts, wounds or bruising, or other skin injuries please wait until they are healed before applying a body scrub.

CAN I USE A BODY SCRUB ON TATTOOED SKIN?

We recommend that you wait until the tattoo site is completely healed before applying a body scrub. This goes for any wounded skin.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE BEAN BODY COFFEE SCRUBS AND THE NO MESS SCRUBS?

Our coffee scrubs are grittier and are great for thorough exfoliation to polish and stimulate the skin to reveal smooth, soft and supple skin. Our coffee scrubs are designed to be left on for 5-10 minutes for best results.

Our No Mess Scrubs are a whipped, creamy texture and gentler on the skin. Our Butter Me Up Scrub is deeply hydrating and perfect for a quick and mess-free exfoliation. Our Coconuts About You 2-In-1 Scrub has kaolin clay to deeply cleanse the skin. This can be used for a quick and mess-free exfoliation or left on as a purifying body mask to draw out impurities.

WHAT SKIN TYPE ARE THE BEAN BODY SIGNATURE SCRUBS SUITABLE FOR?

BEAN BODY body care products have been formulated to be gentle and caring on the skin. We always advise patch testing 24-hours prior to using a new body product. During pregnancy and breast feeding your body is more sensitive and reactive. If you are unsure about using any of the BEAN BODY products, we recommend that you consult your doctor for advice during this special time.

ARE THE SIGNATURE SCRUBS FRAGRANCE-FREE?

Each of our Bean Body scrubs are designed with a signature fragrance to awaken the senses with each use.

ARE BEAN BODY SIGNATURE SCRUBS VEGAN FRIENDLY?

Most of our products are vegan friendly.

Our Manuka Honey Coffee Scrub is made with honey that is harvested from ethically and sustainably farmed bees.

CAN YOU USE THIS PRODUCT IF YOU ARE PREGNANT OR BREAST FEEDING?

SHOULD YOU PATCH TEST ON YOUR SKIN BEFORE USING A SCRUB?

It is best to patch test 24 hours before scrubbing. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and seek medical advice. Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs flush with water.

ARE BEAN BODY SCRUBS SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN TO USE?

Though our body scrubs have been designed to be skin caring, children’s skin can be extremely sensitive. We do not recommend these to be used on children or infants.

WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE OF THE BEAN BODY SIGNATURE SCRUBS?

The shelf life of our Coffee Scrubs is 3 years. We recommend storing your scrub in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
